Interactive Whiteboards

Interactive Whiteboards (IWB) are large interactive displays that connect to a computer and projector. The user controls the computer/board using a pen, stylus, or finger. Common accessories for IWB include an audience response system (clickers) and a graphics tablet (slate) that can be carried around the room. The 2 most common boards used in education include the SMART board and the Promethean ActivBoard.
